      FUNCTION INTRODUCTION

      Go to market Quality Assurance team (GtM QA) is responsible for the quality of the products in the market. The team ensures Quality Management System (QMS) compliance is in place in the local country business and supports the stakeholders by providing technical quality support in innovation execution, quality risk management and quality improvement. Beside of business partnering in cross functional teams locally and in wider European Business Unit Quality Teams, GtM QA is also in close contact with local authorities trough annual audits and issue management.

      Decision making directly impacts consumer safety and quality of Unilever products in the marketplace, impacting Unilever reputation and brand equity. GTM QA specialist is a key role in mitigation and management of Unilever Corporate Operational Risk (Design and production of products that meet our environmental, consumer safety and quality standards).

      Nordic GtM QA team consist of a team lead and 2 GtM QA specialists with defined category responsibilities, but available for cross category support when needed. The vacant position is dedicated for supporting mainly Ice Cream, Personal Care and Beauty and Wellbeing categories.

      WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

      • Supports Unilever Quality strategy, governance and goals through European and Local specific projects and targets
      • Supports that process changes and specifications meet local regulatory requirements and product quality needs
      • Ensures local Distribution Centers (DC) are remaining compliant to Unilever requirements by supporting Local Logistics with annual quality verification process and participating or leading re-pack audits in local DC’s
      • Supports with continuous improvement in logistics quality
      • Launch performance quality monitoring of new / modified products
      • Attendance and active support of project post launch reviews
      • Facilitation of and/or link into project risk assessments with project teams (both Supply Chain driven and Business driven projects) including local innovation management
      • Management of consumer and customer complaints (communication, actions and monitoring)
      • Targeted analysis of quality data and preparation of KPI based performance reports
      • Participation or lead of local quality projects and roll-out [run trainings if needed]
      • Identification and transfer of "Best Practices" into the business
      • Support of production transfers to/from other sites
      • Issue and crisis management (case dependent - from lead to assistance)
      • Support of wider Quality community (other local market in Europe, central Quality, Factory Quality) in case of urgent activities and crisis situations.

      WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

      Experiences & Qualifications

      • Preferably, University degree in general sciences or technical discipline (preferred: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science or Microbiology degree)
      • Minimum 3 years FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) business experience in Quality, R&D or Manufacturing
      • Proven and recognized achievements in risk and change management
      • Depth of experience within Ice Cream and/or Food/Beauty/Personal Care/Home care
      • Auditor experience is strongly preferred
      • Fluent in English and in one of the Nordic languages
      • Able to work organized and structured even when put under pressure
