      • Support New Product Development and Change Management with both internal engineering and with suppliers to support print requirements
      • Assist with calibration schedule and Calibration Management System planning and execution according to IAPMO standards; execute calibration events to proper conclusion
      • Orient and check work of manufacturing and support the Quality Management System
      • Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) process as needed and perform/improve First Article Inspections and collect process data as required; write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards
      • Perform receiving, in process, and final inspection activities, using FARO arm and CAD drawings
      • Perform internal manufacturing process and product audits as directed
      • Assure manufacturing/service center processes such as Receiving, Stock Selecting / Movement, Fabricating, Assembly, Hydrant Assembly and Packout) follow predetermined quality standards.
      • Ability to learn and subsequently participate in quality management system audits
      • Report supplier nonconformances through the Global Supplier Quality reporting system and business unit systems
      • Support Cost of Quality process for assigned area
      • Assist with nonconforming material containment process within the business unit
      • Communicate with quality department team and internal disciplines to communicate and resolve customer quality concerns
      • May be assigned to participate in projects as a part of development as assigned by Quality System or Engineering supervision / support team
      • Support quality department with Corrective and Preventive Action Process
      • Perform nonconforming material analysis as directed
      • Collect process data as required and maintain quality records
      • Support continual improvement (#CI) objectives as assigned
      • Continually learn and successfully execute processes to meet organizational objectives
      • Other as assigned

      Qualifications/Requirements

      • High School/GED required
      • Knowledge of PPAP and PFMEA
      • Knowledge of 8D / 5 why problem solving
      • Knowledge of blueprint reading
      • MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook)
      • Can work with Hand Gauges (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
      • Proficient computer skills
      • Excellent communication and teamwork ability
      • Experience with various forklifts and stock-handling preferred
