      Position Summary:

      Pendulum is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Technician to join our Quality team. The 2nd shift (9:30pm-5am) Quality Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring we meet growing customer demand. They will contribute to establishing a strong foundation of best practices that will enable business growth. Our ideal candidate is interested in working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, is motivated by seeking efficiencies and solving problems, and is excited by supporting the flow of goods from R&D through to commercialization.

      What You'll Do:

      • The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
      • Maintain and monitor facility food safety, sanitation and documentation in the production environment
      • Conduct routine and non-routine QC testing to ensure compliance with internal standards. (PCR, Plating Facility Inspection)
      • Verify sanitation activities, such as preoperational inspections and swabbing
      • Monitor and verify in process checks
      • Complete and retain QA records and documentation
      • Escalate non-conformances, issues, and events
      • Audit GMPs, procedures, and paperwork on the production floor
      • Inspect and verify incoming and final product meets specification standards
      • Assist in the continuous improvement activities
      • Review and update batch records, forms and work instructions
      • Help follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and deviations
      • Provide hands-on assistance and problem-solving support to the quality control team
      • Verify quality of incoming materials including raw and packaging material
      • Conduct environmental monitoring and prepare/ship lab samples for 3rd party testing
      • Ensure quality processes are followed
      • Actively participate in process improvement
      • Other duties as assigned

      About You:

      • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (chemistry, microbiology, food science, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related discipline) from an accredited college/university
      • 3+ years relevant experience in a dietary supplement, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment
      • Working knowledge of GMP.
      • Ability to partner and collaborate within and across departments to achieve quality requirements and ensure compliance.
      • Technical writing skills
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Detailed, analytical and critical thinker with a “can do” attitude
      • Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
      • Experience with aseptic techniques used in microbiology is desirable.
      • Experience with SQF is desirable.
      • Proactive, honest communicator, flexible, and team player
      • Familiarity with developing/writing SOPs, documenting and tracking lot numbers
      • Strong computer skills, familiar with Excel, Word, and Google apps
      • This is 100% on site position
