      JOB DESCRIPTION

      Quality Liaison Trim (m/f/d) 18-month fixed-term contract

      What can you expect?

      The Quality Trim Liaison reports outside of the plant to the Quality Manager at the Adient Ceska Lipa Plant who supply the trim to our Liverpool Complete Seat Plant. The day-to-day activities of our Quality Trim team at Liverpool are managed by the Quality Supplier Engineer who reports directly to the Plant’s Quality Manager.

      What will your responsibilities be?

      • Primary customer (Adient Liverpool) contact for all quality issues related to supplier (Adient Ceska Lipa).
      • Communication responsibility between Adient Liverpool and Adient Ceska Lipa in terms of details - quality issues, pictures, on-time transfer of response & actions from Adient Ceska Lipa.
      • Daily reporting of quality performance of Adient Ceska Lipa in Adient Liverpool (assembly line, inspections) to Quality Engineer Adient Ceska Lipa.
      • Management of potential additional incoming inspection executed by external company.
      • Individual control of Trim covers delivered by Adient Ceska Lipa.
      • Repair of the cover (sewing issues of Adient Ceska Lipa).
      • Repair of Liverpool assay damages (Cut & Sew and Paint repair).
      • Return of non-conformance covers back to trim plant with relevant paperwork
      • Support for project launch in Adient Liverpool.
      • Adient Ceska Lipa representative for Trim sub-supplier issues at Adient Liverpool (Eagle Ottawa…etc.) and warranty covers.
      • Review and lead quality trim improvements (continuous improvements).

      Working hours

      Currently working 39 hours per week on a day shift.

      Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

      Job Experience:

      • Previous experience working with trim quality desired.
      • Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive, desired.

      Skills/Knowledge:

      • Advanced sewing knowledge and experience (including on leather) is essential.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
      • Ability to work under own initiative.

      Language:

      • Proficient at speaking and writing in English essential
      • Understanding of Czech desired but not essential.
