      Job Description

        What is the opportunity?

        You will play a key role in mitigating credit and operational risks related to simple and complex credit and adjudication processes supporting RCAP Leasing and RBC Traditional Leasing services to our vendor and commercial banking relationship clients. The Quality Verification Officer enhances our funding processes and mitigates us against risk by effectively reviewing documentation (lease schedule, security, authorizations) against credit approvals and conditions prior to funding. The Quality Verification Officer supports the business objective in Balancing Risk and Reward.

        What will you do?

        Ensures quality, accuracy and alignment to all internal policies and procedures prior to advance as follows:

        • All documents are vetted to comply with product/service and form completion/legal requirements, eligibility and limit criteria, and authorized policy.
        • Documentation specified in the approval commentary is obtained, complete and accurate and all outlined conditions/pre-conditions have been met prior to processing
        • Conducts secondary verification on all leasing transactions against transactions approved in our Leasing source systems.

        • Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to manage conflict
        • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage time and priorities.
        • Demonstrated ability to solve problems by and recommending alternatives.
        • Ability to discern when to update and seek guidance from Manager
        • Strong willingness and desire to learn.
        • Detail-oriented and able to understand the terms and conditions of the contracts.

        Job Summary

        Monitors and verifies that quality activities are in line with control procedures.
        Compiles, analyzes, and distributes performance reports and process control statistics.
        Maintains and disseminates defect documentation and logs. Applies basic theories, skills, and practices to accomplish assignments.
