      Job Description

      • Develop models for strategic asset allocation
      • Perform bespoke allocation analyses
      • Research, code, statistically evaluate, and communicate models for expected return and risk across asset classes at long-term and short-term frequencies
      • Further develop, research, code and evaluate internally developed optimization engines
      • Research, backtest, develop, and communicate tactical quantitative signals for cross-asset allocation

      Requirements

      • Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Quantitative Finance, Economics, STEM)
      • Relevant professional experience from a similar role and interest in financial markets, quantitative finance, or macro-finance
      • Excellent knowledge of econometrics, statistics, machine learning and optimization techniques
      • Strong coding skills (e.g. in Python), being aware of coding best practices and version control systems (e.g. Git)
      • Excited to apply state-of-the-art research to solve practical asset management problems
      • Innovative self-starter and problem solver; team player with excellent communication skills
      • German language skills are an advantage
