      Join our Macquarie Asset Management team as an experienced Quantitative Analyst within our Macquarie Fixed Income team.

      What role will you play?

      You will carry out investment analysis including investigating quantitative opportunities to improve investment performance, building investment processes and modelling new product performance expectations. You will play a key role in performance analysis, understanding the performance for all of Macquarie’s fixed income portfolios. You will liaise with portfolio managers to ensure portfolios are performing and positioned in line with expectations and work with our global team to implement attribution solutions.

      You will be key in automating and developing regular tasks, process improvement and development, and creating robust investment tools with excellent consumer experience.

      What you offer

      • Up to 3 years’ experience in a quantitative role
      • Adept numerical skills as evidenced by outstanding tertiary academic results in a relevant field (Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial/Science or Engineering)
      • Strong attention to detail
      • CFA candidacy or qualifications is considered beneficial but not mandatory
      • Familiarity with Python and/or SQL is advantageous but not obligatory
      • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the team and the wider business.
