      Qualifications

      Position Qualifications:
      • Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics or Statics, or related field
      • Master of Science Degree in Economics or Statics from an accredited university preferred
      • 2 years of experience with statistical modeling software. Experience via schoolwork can be counted. (i.e., SAS, STATA, Eviews, R, etc.)
      • 2 years of project management experience
      • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
      • SAS Advanced Certified preferred

      Job Description

      Quantitative Financial Analytics Officer
      The Quantitative Financial Analytics Officer is responsible to aid in the Development, Implementation and Monitoring of Loan Level Risk Rating models. The Loan Level Risk Rating models are necessary to minimize adverse loan selection and measure credit risk. Additionally, aid in the leveraging of the data gained from the above to assist the Bank with broader initiatives.
      Position Competencies
      Successful incumbents have excellent quantitative analysis skills, have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills and are adept at project management and multi-tasking.
      Position Responsibilities:
      • Model Implementation: Perform the testing necessary to ensure that the models are implemented as approved, both before and after implementation.
      • Model Monitoring: Perform the monitoring necessary to determine the efficacy of the performance of the models. This is necessary to prioritize modeling efforts.
      • Model Development: Aid in the development of new loan level risk rating models by attending model development discussions with the model developers and lines of business.
      • Initiatives: Provide support for Bank initiatives by mining and analyzing data.

      Work Hours

      8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position includes onsite and remote work days. *This position’s office location in Dallas will be moving to Frisco, TX; Auburn Hill location will be moving to Farmington Hills, MI*
