Analytical and data driven

Able to “see the bigger picture” and get to the heart of issues rapidly
Results oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
Supporting client facing teams in conducting ad-hoc analysis and responding to client requests
Data mining using SQL/Python queries
Supporting development of quantitative portfolio construction, cash flow forecasts and investment risk analysis to be incorporated in client pitches and presentations
Supporting quantitative portfolio simulations and scenario analysis
Collaborating with investment, solutions and investor relation teams to develop bespoke model portfolios that incorporate client specific goals and objectives
Analyzing client portfolios, benchmarking against the broader market to determine risk and return drivers
Proactively contributing to research projects and thought pieces
And other responsibilities as required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power Point
Experience with Python, SQL and Power BI
Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experience
Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience
2-5 Years experience in institutional, financial sales and service preferred

This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office.
As part of the dynamic and fast-paced Quantitative Investment Science group, Associate is responsible for leveraging innovative quantitative tools to support bespoke model portfolio proposals incorporating client specific goals and objectives. This includes conducting quantitative portfolio simulations and scenario analysis, analyzing client portfolios to explain periodic performance and risk variances; contributing to research projects by recognizing investment trends and determining portfolio construction and asset allocation implications for client portfolios. This individual will thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment and will develop trusting relationships with investments, solutions, investor relations, legal, compliance, marketing, and operations team members. This role is ideal for an intellectually curious independent thinker, who can creatively approach data analysis and clearly communicate complex ideas and insights to internal and external teams.
