What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop a Monte Carlo strategic asset allocation model using Python
- Incorporate key portfolio objectives and constraints to ensure compliance with investment policies
- Write model documentation and perform necessary testing for internal validation
- Conduct ongoing monitoring and updates of models, communicating results to stakeholders
- Utilize advanced analytics to assess risk and provide meaningful solutions for decision-making
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or related quantitative field
- Minimum of 6 years of quantitative analysis experience relevant to risk management
- OR an advanced degree in a quantitative field with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
- OR a PhD in a quantitative discipline with up to 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in building portfolio optimization or strategic asset allocation models
- Progress towards CFA or FRM designations
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming
- US military experience or familial connection to military service
