What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to projects involving statistical sampling and data analysis
- Summarize and analyze claims data
- Perform database querying and hypothesis testing
- Produce analytic reports on statistical issues
- Assist with the evaluation and optimization of healthcare program operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree completed within the past 24 months
- Previous academic and/or work experience in quantitative analysis
- Overseeing project tasks and preparing presentations and reports
- Experience using software for data analysis, such as SAS, Python, R, or Tableau
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with medical claims data and/or medical auditing data
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, biostatistics, computer science, epidemiology, or other quantitative fields
- Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, simulation, probability, data visualization, and querying large datasets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective team collaboration skills
- Healthcare or human services research experience
