      Req#: 3286105

      The R&D Internship will guide you through the application of analytical chemistry as it relates to an industrial pharmaceutical laboratory setting. It will provide you with hands-on experience testing pharmaceutical samples with analytical instrumentation and interpreting the data generated. This internship will also provide coaching and mentoring opportunities, involvement with multidisciplinary teams working on pharmaceutical product development, and presenting a summary of your work to the R&D team. We are looking for Bachelor’s students who have completed at least their junior year majoring in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar degrees. Candidates should have strong communication skills, an eagerness to learn, team focus, and high self-motivation.

      • The typical summer term is 10 to 12 weeks beginning in May

      • The internship will be in-person in the Cleveland, Ohio area

      • Housing assistance, if needed, includes a monthly stipend

      • Temporary housing can be coordinated through Oakwood, but is the student’s responsibility

      • Transportation is the student’s responsibility

      • Full time availability (40 hours per week)

      • Pay rate is $20.00/hr

      • This position is overtime eligible
