Partner with R&D hiring leaders to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and establish clear timelines.
Design and execute tailored, data-informed sourcing strategies to attract a strong slate of talent.
Identify and engage candidates through various channels: LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, events, and direct outreach.
Screen and assess candidates, present qualified talent to hiring teams, and guide interview and selection processes.
Negotiate offers and coordinate the pre-employment and onboarding experience.
Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Deliver a consistent, high-touch experience for candidates aligned with Lilly’s mission, values, and employer brand.
Represent Lilly at career events and conferences, building robust pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Coach hiring managers on inclusive interviewing and best practices.
Stay current on R&D trends, competitive intelligence, and market insights.
Use data and technology (ATS, CRM, analytics dashboards) to drive process efficiency and recruitment impact.
Partner with HR, legal, immigration, compliance, and relocation teams to ensure a compliant and consistent hiring process.
High school diploma or GED
4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
Experience recruiting in R&D or scientific/technical disciplines
Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
HR or recruiting certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS)
Familiarity with Workday, Phenom, and other AI-enabled recruiting technologies
Outstanding communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Critical thinking and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Business Competence, Business Partnerships, Strategic Influence, Change Leadership, Decision Making, and Data Literacy is essential
Deep understanding of R&D talent profiles and industry-specific sourcing strategies
Experience leading mid-to-large scale hiring initiatives
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and recruitment tools
Knowledge of employment law and recruitment compliance best practices
Travel: 10%

$57,750 - $129,800Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
