Job Description
- Req#: 2557
- Respond to typical customer requests for emergency, routine, and remedial maintenance of radio communications equipment and circuits.
- Install and coordinate installation of various radio communications equipment and systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance of all company radio systems.
- Ensure compliance with FCC rules and regulations.
- Provide technological advice, service, and support to company users of radio equipment and systems.
- Assist with FCC license applications for mobile radio systems.
- Perform maintenance and repair of other company electronic equipment, such as gas meter provers, radio control locomotives, meter testers, alarm systems, closed circuit television, and other electronic instruments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree in Electronics or other Associate Degree Programs that align with the degree previously named or equivalent Armed Forces training
- Valid driver’s license
- Obtain the Federal Communications Commission general radiotelephone operator's license within one year in the position
- 2+ years of work experience in radio technology

Job Summary
The Radio Technologist 1 provides advanced technical support for company-wide radio communication systems. They assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain systems, including mobile and portable radio, MAS radio, paging systems, and other related radio network equipment.
