      Radiographer

      Derby Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Full time

      Up to £33,750 depending on experience

      37.5 hours per week (part time hours considered)

      *This role requires commitment to an out of hours on-call rota and occasional weekend and bank holiday working*

      As a Radiographer at our Derby Hospital, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), HCPC registration and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Newly qualified radiographers and return to practice radiographers are welcome to apply.

      The Radiology Department is a small but busy department covering a wide range of general radiographic examinations, limited interventional procedures, theatre, ultrasound and mammography. The hospital also provides CT & MRI services onsite.

      As a Radiographer, you will:

      • Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service
      • Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre
      • Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment and facilities
      • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
      • Supervise and develop junior colleagues
      • Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

      Nuffield Health Derby is a purpose built hospital which offers a comprehensive range of high quality surgical services. We have 38 en-suite beds and three operating theatres along with a recently refurbished outpatient department, a minor ops suite and a dedicated oncology unit. We have a range of diagnostics, including Radiology and Pathology services on-site. Patients attend on a mix of Private and NHS pathways.
