      Job summary

      We currently have a vacancy for a Radiography health care support worker to join our busy and friendly teams in Powys. Working in the Radiography departments in Welshpool and Newtown hospital. The opening hours of each site are from 8.30-5 Monday to Friday

      Radiology currently provides imaging investigations, including X-Ray and Ultrasound with the possibility of further experience in other modalities in the future.

      The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

      Main duties of the job

      The role will involve working within a multidisciplinary team, providing high quality patient care during imaging investigations. The duties of this post include supporting Radiographers, Radiologists, Sonographers clinically and undertaking clerical duties, while rotating through all areas of the Radiology department.

      You should ideally have excellent communication skills and full computer literacy. Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting with experience of patient databases is desirable.

      • Level 3 qualification in relevant healthcare subject, or possess the equivalent skills, knowledge and experience o Understanding of the role of Radiographic Support Workers
