- Good general standard of education to GCSE 'O' Level (Grade A-C) including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualification(s)
- Educated to diploma level or equivalent level combination of NVQ 3 education, short courses and experience
- Previous administration/secretarial experience and a comprehensive experience of working in the NHS or other healthcare sector.
- Experience of working with the general public in a customer or patient-facing role.
- Staff Supervision - day to day supervision.
- Experience of inputting to databases, spreadsheets and/or other IT Systems and business applications used in the office environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing with the ability to communicate at all levels and across a variety of agencies with negotiating and persuasive skills
- Understanding of patient pathways and medical terminology in own area of work
- Self-motivated
- Able to motivate others and promote team working
- Management qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience of dealing with confrontational and emotional enquiries
- Experience of organising meetings and events including speakers.

- Desire to develop with the needs of the service

Job summary
The post holder will be part of an Administrative team whose responsibilities are to support the clinical services within the radiology department in managing the daily demand and to effectively prioritise incoming referrals into urgent and non-urgent.
The post holder will act as the Senior Admin doe the booking team and provide support to the PACs Team across both hospital site (The Hillingdon Hospital & Mount Vernon Hospital) for patient relations within the department.

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for all Special appointments including ensuring lists are changed or cancelled in the event of Radiologist leave.
To liaise with third party healthcare provide "Healthshare" in regards to the outsourced patients report and update cases when required and provide an effective, efficient appointment service to the department and the Trust.
