- Responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality while processing patients Radiology exams and reports including accurate and efficient image management, and controlling and processing of more critical requests including electronic requests.
- Contributes to the effective operation of University Hospitals and the Radiology Operations Center.
- Controls central Radiology operations center which serves as primary point of contact between UH regional hospitals, ambulatory sites and radiologists. Working Collaboratively with Physicians, Co Workers, Patients in a professional and effective manner.
- Provides support to Radiologists and Radiology staff by monitoring PACS worklists, alerting radiologists of reporting delays and assists in redistributing workflow as needed, troubleshooting issues as they arise and communicating with the appropriate resources and provide support during downtime.
- Assists in optimizing radiologist workflow and maintaining efficiency
- High School Equivalent / GED required.
- 2 years minimum experience with Radiology PACS system, Image management, Release of Medical Information and customer service
!*!Shift Options:
(3) – 12hr shifts (12pm to 12am Sat/Sun and one alternating weekday
(4) – 10hr shifts (12pm to 12am Sat/Sun and two weekdays) which weekdays and hours can be flexible but still afternoon or evenings
(5) – 8hr shifts (1pm to 9pm Sat/Sun and three weekdays) which weekdays and hours can be flexible but still afternoon or evenings
