      The role you’ll contribute:

      Performs radiology patient exam management and flow, including but not limited to, check in, screening paper work, information, instructions, requisition flow, order corrections and coordination, phone support for radiologists, nursing units, physicians, scheduling and registration communications. Enhances imaging tech

      The value you’ll bring to the team:

      · Responsible for assisting in the application of imaging guidelines and standards in accordance with current practices.

      · Patient Care activities include, but not limited to:

      · Follows supervisors direction and job assignments daily with flexibility as changes necessitate.

      · Reviews imaging orders and correctly matches patients to be treated in each of the imaging modalities within radiology.

      · Ensures correct patient for each procedure using proper standards for identification.

      · Communicates with all patients professionally at all times while looking for opportunities to exceed their expectations.

      · Provides information as requested by patients within training scope during imaging procedure process.

      · Maintains cleanliness and proper working order of assigned equipment and work areas, with emphasis on appearance.

      · Assist hospital staff and physicians with imaging information as appropriate, and relays pertinent information to proper staff for disposition.

      · Greets and assists patients when visiting the department and when assistance is necessary while in the hospital.

      · Immediately provides supervisor with detailed information on any safety concerns for patients or staff that may impact care or overall wellbeing.

      The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

      Minimum qualifications :

      · American Heart CPR

      · Medical terminology class or training

      Preferred qualifications:

      · 2 years experience in hospital setting.

      · Patient experience courses.
