      Schedule: Per Diem, As Needed , Non- Benefit Eligible (some shifts could be at satellite locations)

      Position Summary:

      The Ra dio l og y Tech nologist will perform ra dio g ra phy & angiog ra phy procedures under the supervision of the M odality S upervisory Te chnologist and M odality M edical D irector. The Ra dio l og y Tech nologist will:

      • Perform all technical procedures within the resp ective modality sections as described in the Ra dio l og y Policy Manual.

      • Meet the technical competency requirements for the position.

      • Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff.

      • Participate in professional education prog ra ms, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assu ra nce/ improvement activities.

      Required Knowledge & Skills:

      • High school diploma or equivalent required

      • Documented t ra ining and experience in ra dio g ra phy

      • Current BLS certification

      • Current Massachusetts DPH Ra dio l og ic Technologist Ra dio g ra phy (Full/Gene ra l) license or ability to obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expi ra tion of a tempo ra ry license

      • Current ARRT registered certification in Ra dio g ra phy with RT(R) designation or eligible for ARRT certification

      • Imaging acquisition, processing, reviewing, sending, and retrieving equipment (hardware and software); Hospital information system equipment (hardware and software); Communication equipment (e.g., fax, telephone, email, etc.) .

      • Ability to use computers

      • Ability to speak, read, and write in English

      • Ability to hear and resp ond to staff and patient needs

      • Ability to physically position patients

      • Ability to manipulate imaging equipment
