Job Description
- Req#: 245037
- Radio NW Planning & Designs for new and existing sites and Rollout Monitoring.
- Definition of Sites configuration as per Group guidelines.
- Special case coverage & capacity solutions.
- Perform regular and ad hoc drive trials for VFAL and competing networks concerning Radio NW performance.
- Planning tool database management.
- Network dimensioning, network planning, capacity planning, area optimization, and deployment for the fixed network in HFC and X-Pon.
- Undertake the nominal planning for the RAN & FTTH network, defining the needs of the network for new sites location, extra capacity addition, coverage & performance improvements through redesigns etc.
- Deliver nominal planning designs being aligned with Group guidelines for the sites configuration & fixed network. Input for final SoW (scope of work).
- Undertake nominal planning design for special case coverages like micro or DAS (Distributing antennas system) i.e. Halls, in building, Trading Center, Stadium etc.
- Provide feedback to NRA to reports related to all their drive test measurements reports with actions to meet KPI-s demand. Periodic update of the ATLAS tool with network data
- Preparation of coverage maps, territory & pop coverage KPI for different reporting internal & external.
- Collaborate with Optimization Team to perform optimization in the network as per input logs from drive tests, KPI-s and site acceptances.
- Responsible for the update of the planning tool database with the latest changes in the network.
- Monitor, record and report to ensure survey and design delivery meet agreed plan.
- HFC/Fibre drawings.
- Minimum 5 years related experience in the planning and configuration.
- Deep knowledge of the HFC & FTTH network functionality (broadcasting, RF spectrum etc)
- Deep experience of the way the network works and how performance contributes to overall customer experience.
- Well established expertise on the NSN and Ericsson products for GSM.UMTS & LTE RAN, along with their evolution towards the future technologies. Preferred experience with 5G.
- Reporting skills: Ability on performance reporting for large organisations and knowledge of financial measures and related drivers
