Job Description
- Req#: 25-2505
- Receive, weigh, and identify raw materials.
- Can up weighed out heats in correct sequence.
- Load and unload trucks, verifying load with packing list.
- Accumulate raw materials for various furnace charges according to heat sheet.
- Pull samples and take to lab for processing.
- Follow VIM schedule to determine heats needed to be weighed out.
- Follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Assist charge clerk, scrap sorter, VIM personnel, Etc. and other duties as assigned
- Over 6 and up to 9 months of previous manufacturing experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior fork truck experience is preferred
- Work from charge sheets, use weigh scales.
- Make simple use of formulas.
