      RBC Analyst Program

      The RBC Analyst Program is dedicated to developing future leaders at RBC in one of our core product or functional areas. From day one, you will have the opportunity to acquire skills while supporting part of a business at Canada’s leading bank. You will be entrusted to solve complex problems and develop strategies that drive growth and profitability, working alongside leaders across the business.

      As part of the RBC Analyst Program, you will join one of two streams: Data Analytics or Product Management in one of the following core product or functional areas

      • Cards, Payments, and Banking
      • Loyalty & Rewards
      • Customer Operations
      • Digital & Technology
      • Personal Financing Products
      • Portfolio Management and Credit Strategies
      • RBCx

      A key part of your success in the RBC Analyst Program will be the coaching and mentoring you will receive from peers and senior leaders. You will be supported by learning programs offered through RBC that will accelerate your development as you take on new challenges in the program.

      What will you do?

      Data Analytics Stream:

      • Identify, manage, analyze, and interpret data to support the creation of meaningful and actionable insights to support the growth of our businesses
      • Work with cutting edge Business Intelligence technologies and data tools
      • Develop creative problem-solving and analytical skills to drive decision-making & enhance business objectives
      • Refine your communication and presentation skills with opportunities to present findings and recommendations to business partners and senior management
      • Continually work with data through various parts of the data life cycle (i.e. Build data pipelines, feature engineering, data deep dives, machine learning model development, etc.)

      Product Management Stream:

      • Identify, manage, analyze, and interpret data to support the creation of meaningful and actionable insights to support the growth of our businesses
      • Interact and collaborate with team members in an agile work environment to build outstanding products, services, and campaigns
      • Develop creative problem-solving and analytical skills to drive decision-making & enhance business objectives
      • Refine your communication and presentation skills with opportunities to present findings and recommendations to business partners and senior management
      • Continually work with internal partners to ensure cross-learning between teams

      What do you need to succeed?

      • Undergraduate university or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Math, Economics or other related fields with less than two years of full time work experience
      • A growth mindset with the curiosity and capacity to learn quickly
      • Proven track record of leadership and excellence in academic and extracurricular activities
      • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence key decisions
      • Ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environment
      • Positive attitude with willingness to perform beyond what is being asked
      • Professional verbal, written, communication skills
      • Solid technical skills in data analytics methodologies / tools – through existing experience with statistical analysis and SQL or have demonstrated a keen interest to learn (preferred requirement for the Data Analytics stream)
