      Medical Billing – Revenue Cycle – Trip Intake – Hospital Call Team Representative

      Location: Remote or On-Site

      Hourly Pay: $16

      This position is bonus eligible

      Training Schedule: 40 hrs/wk, Mo-Fr 8am-4pm Central

      Work Schedule: 40/hrs/wk, Mo-Fr 8hr min shifts required, flex hours after training

      JOB SUMMARY

      The Medical Billing – Revenue Cycle- Trip Intake – Hospital Call Team Representative works with the Trip Intake Team to obtain patient demographics and insurance information.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

      • Obtains patient demographic and insurance information through hospital contact.
      • Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
      • Manages inbound and outbound call volume.
      • Assigns an account to the next department, accurately.
      • Ensures accounts are worked appropriately to allow distribution to the floor in a timely manner.
      • Works individually and as a team member to achieve team and departmental goals.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Required Experience:

      • Minimum of one (1) year in a call center environment
      • Minimum of one (1) year of admissions experience or equivalent education
      • Customer focus and adaptability to various personalities
      • Must be fluent in English
      • Knowledge and experience of computers and related technology at an intermediate level
      • Experience with downloading documents from websites and accessing documents downloaded
      • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office 365

      Preferred Education:

      • High school diploma
      • GED
      • Or significant, relevant work experience
