Job Description

- Take lead in the pre-registration of New Arrivals using the Reception tool and BIMS systems, while maintaining an up-to-date Master file of New Arrivals’ population figures and demographics profiled by points of entry, country of origin, age, gender and diversity.
- Facilitate distribution of assistance to pre-registered and registered New Arrivals using the Reception and Global Distribution (GDT) Tools, respectively.
- Extract and verify pre-registered new arrivals in preparation for registration at the DRS Field post.
- Prepare statistical analysis of daily, weekly and Monthly reports data as required by the project including Distributions, Registered, and Relocated cases and share accordingly.
- Lead focused group discussions, compile and analyze social assessment reports, and any other data processing needs as when need arises.
- Monitor and evaluate RC data system’s throughput for optimal performance and provide insights for new initiatives and tools that would enhance and ensure data and/or information needs at the RC are addressed adequately.
- Support the use of information developed to facilitate distribution of core relief items and relocation of asylum seekers to the community.
- Building the capacity of Reception center staffs on how to access and manage the software (IACP-IMS).
- Maintaining logs of daily, weekly and monthly reports and proper storage for future reference.
- Facilitate daily and weekly meetings with data staffs to discuss the data confidentiality and management, project implementations, challenges and way forward.
- Collaborates with other partners who target data analysis of the project.
- Be responsible for data analysis of the reception and transit centers and other related cases and share the report appropriately.
- Perform other related duties as required by the management.
- Minimum of Diploma in Data Management, ICT or Statistics.
- Excellent Skills in Ms. Excel
- A minimum of one (1) year in data collection using contemporary online data collection systems

The Kakuma reception center Data Clerk will be based in Kakuma will be responsible for Records, maintains and analysis data on Refugees and asylum seekers using the Reception Center Tool and Information Management System (IMS) of reception or transit center.
