    • West Woods Upper Elementary School is seeking a Part Time (0.5 FTE) Reading Teacher starting August 2025

      In close collaboration with the building Literacy Specialist, the Reading Teacher works to improve literacy learning for all students by modeling a sense of urgency for highly effective and responsive instruction. T

      • delivers interventions to low progress learners while also helping classroom teachers and paraprofessionals develop skills and strategies to promote accelerated progress in reading and writing.
      • Using assessment and consultation data, monitors and evaluates student progress, responding to individual academic needs of diverse learners to ensure high levels of achievement in literacy.

      Qualifications: Must be eligible for State of CT certification in Elementary; certification in Remedial Reading (102) or Master's Degree in Reading or related areas preferred but not required.

      Salary: $55,018 - $111,829 (Dependent upon education and experience. Part-time positions are pro-rated).
