- Analyzing financial statements (primarily public company), capital structures, commercial real estate assets / portfolios and deal structures to produce documents in support of company specific and portfolio level decisions on a timely basis
- Proficient use of internal tools and systems in support of new deals, portfolio monitoring, performance reporting and data integrity requirements
- Solid understanding of capital and client profitability concepts, including modeling credit and relationship returns in support of risk / return considerations
- Comprehension of fundamental legal and underwriting concepts as they relate to deal structures
- 2 + years of commercial / corporate banking credit related experience
- Must have proficient financial analysis skills

The Credit Products Associate works closely with the Credit Product Officers to drive the underwriting and credit approval process for new originations and renewals, and bears increased responsibility for the completion of portfolio monitoring routines. Maintains and enhances financial analysis and portfolio management skills developed as an Analyst, and develops the depth of knowledge necessary to model new situations. Expands understanding of deal structures and documentation issues. Provides coaching and direction of Analysts. Contributes to the completion of more complex transactions and works independently on more routine assignments. May be assigned primary responsibility on a limited number of accounts with senior officer oversight. Continues to demonstrate commitment, personal responsibility, strong communication skills, teamwork, and a strong desire to grow and develop. The Real Estate Corporate Banking Credit Products Associate plays a key role in underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and performance reporting for loans and other credit risk exposure to large corporate real estate clients including public REITs, real estate fund sponsors, and public homebuilders. The RECB Associate works alongside Credit Officers and product partners from Corporate and Investment Banking, Loan Syndications, Risk, Treasury Management, Traded Products, Legal, and others with a focus on bilateral and syndicated REIT credit facilities that may be unsecured or secured, as well as subscription line financing for select institutional real estate asset managers.
