Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Real Estate Finance team in our Orange County office.
Sheppard Mullin is a global Am Law 50 full-service law firm with over 1,000 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. The Orange County office currently has over 90 attorneys who practice in a variety of areas including Business Litigation, Finance, Real Estate, Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and more.
The Finance practice of Sheppard Mullin has been a key element of the firm's practice since its founding over 90 years ago. Our commercial lending and financial transactions team is comprised of attorneys specializing in all facets of highly structured financial transactions.
Our Orange County office seeks an associate attorney with at least six (6) years of experience representing lenders on construction, bridge and permanent loans at a national or regional law firm. The ideal candidate will have significant lender-side experience drafting and negotiating mortgage loan documents and conducting associated real estate and entity due diligence. The ability to work with other team members and clients, and 'take ownership' of projects, is essential. Top academic credentials and outstanding writing skills are required. Candidates interested in working from one of our California offices will also be considered.

The pay range for this position is $390,000 to $420,000.
