      Job Purpose:

      This position will manage a portfolio of leased property, properties and property related investments to achieve risk/return goals in line with organizational goals and policies.

      Job Responsibilities:

      Assist in the exits of properties and location of new properties, Audit and pay monthly rents in a timely fashion, Enhance the 3rd party relationship with Veritiv’s real esate partner in CBRE., Establish portfolio metrics that accurately portray the Veritiv portfolio, Improve year over year performance in 3 key areas: YOY rent Impacts, YOY Savings and annula negotiated savings, Provide detailed market analysis and recommendations to senior management and the field, Work with the field representatives to develop real estate strategies surrounding renewals, exits, sales and leasebacks.

      Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

      The Real Estate Operations Manager will report to the Director of Real Estate (DRE) and will support the Real Estate department’s function in managing the enterprise-wide real estate portfolio to become a world-class example of a corporate real estate. Under the guidance and mentorship of the Director, the Manager will interface with various persons inside and outside of Veritiv including functional area peers across business and operating units as well as outside resource and service providers. The Manager will play a pivotal role in handling information, documentation, and communication as well as applying real estate experience, knowledge and practical assessments and analytical skills to various real estate matters. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience in Industrial/Commercial real estate operations with exposure to construction and project management.

      Work Experience:

      Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 3 years to 6 years)

      Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. (Over 6 years to 10 years )

      Education:

      ● Bachelor's Degree

      ● Master's Degree Preferred
