      Job Description & Summary

      A career in our Digital Advisory team, within Real Estate Advisory, will provide you with the opportunity to leverage specialist expertise in the real estate market. Qualifications in Accounting/ Finance and operations within the Real Estate sector, along with a keen interest in real estate technology and Proptech will be required.

      As part of our team, you will be involved in real estate matters where we offer various kinds of services including technology and ERP assessments and implementations along with transformation initiatives and other advisory services as well as being part of the integrated deals team in offering real estate related advice to clients from an overall market perspective.

      Meaningful work you’ll be part of

      As a Real Estate Technology Advisory Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Assist and/or conduct real estate market research across multiple asset classes in numerous markets across Canada, public/private real estate company research, and for other ad-hoc real estate initiatives

      • Support for various financial analysis and assisting in the projects where underwriting of investment real estate (Argus and / or Excel is desirable)

      • Support the preparation of initial drafts of reports, memos, and pitches, using appropriate industry vernacular

      • Provide support schedules and assistance with the senior PwC team with report preparation

      • Assist with management reporting, property management accounting, and overall optimization of Yardi accounting system for clients

      • Assist the Real Estate advisory technology team with support for the broader system implementation, data entry and mapping tasks relating to the client engagement

      • Interact with key members within the PwC real estate team and across the organization

      Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

      • Prior knowledge and experience in real estate desired

      • Experience using Microsoft Excel for various financial analyses

      • Proficiency in PowerPoint for pitches, presentations, and deliverables

      • An interest in becoming a real estate ERP solutions (i.e. MRI, RealPage) and property technology specialist, keeping up with current and future market trends

      • Experience with, or desire to learn other tools and solutions such as Yardi, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, UI Path, etc

      • Ability to multitask on competing deadlines within a fast paced and team-oriented environment

      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

      • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives

      PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

      The salary range* for this position is $41,600 - $69,400, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.

      *Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region. Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.
