      Our Department of Property Management consists of the following programs: Building Management, Property Acquisition, Construction Services, Survey, Replacement and Renewal Projects, as well as Records, Energy/Sustainability, and Grounds Maintenance.

      Real Property Specialist
      Responsible for facilitating progress of real estate activities (easements, leases, acquisitions, etc.) for Capital Improvement Plan Projects, as well as other County projects, related to Property Acquisition. Examples include, but are not limited to, creating/attending progress status meetings, tracking progression of multiple projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and drafting conveyance documents.

      • HS Diploma/Equivalent is required.
      • Minimum of three years' experience in any of the following areas: Contract Negotiations; Real Estate Acquisition; Commercial Real Estate Leasing; Subdivision Plat Vacations; appraisal work as a State Certified Appraiser; Real Estate Paralegal; title research/work; title closing and/or eminent domain.
      • Valid driver's license with valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.


      Desired Skills
      • Associate degree in related field such as paralegal studies, civil engineering, real property management or business management.
      • Member or Senior Member of International Right of Way Association (IRWA).
      • Real estate paralegal and/or project management experience.




      Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
