The incumbent has sufficient knowledge, recognition, and expertise to positively influence and educate all levels responsible prior to product launch and through the life cycle.
This role is a key interface between CISD Regional Sales teams, Aftermarket Support Consultants, the Industries, and the Product Groups.
The incumbent manages complex global cross divisional Rebuild projects to maximize sales and development.
This position positively impacts existing processes that drive services growth through the Services NPI process.
Decisions or recommendations resulting from the projects managed by the incumbent have significant impact sales worldwide.
The incumbent will be responsible to gather data, conduct interviews and provide input for the division on market trends, customer needs and best practices.
Evaluate aftermarket sales, OPACC and lost opportunity in Drive Train, Engines and Hydraulics with worldwide marketing organizations to identify growth opportunities for specific products/regions.
Develop Repair and Rebuild product and GTM strategies for capitalizing on opportunities and maximizing business results
Execute Repair and Rebuild Services NPI projects by product & regions to enable sales and OPACC growth
Deliver solutions that bring value & that make economic sense to CAT, Dealers & Customers
Assure alignment around Rebuilds with CAT Finance, Reman, EMD, EXD, DT and Engines (IPSD) teams.
Ensure adequate quantity and quality of marketing resources are available to achieve goals
Evaluate results of marketing activities and adjust commercial solutions as needed
Evaluate incremental stocking requirements to support growth (Parts availability)
Evaluate Reman coverage gaps and work with Reman to develop new offerings needed.
Engage with VST (Value Selling Tool) team to load rebuild offerings for Rebuild O&O evaluation vs NEW,
Work with GSD (Global Services Division) on operational gaps if any exist to support solution delivery
Develop ready to transact customer lists
Lead dealer deep-dive workshops on piloting solutions.
Execute Repair Solutions projects focused on Do It Myself customers (DIM)
Develop low-cost repair/rebuild recipe(s)
Train reps on CI Top14 rebuilds in region (Full Field Force)
Relevant Degree
Job-related experience in the areas of Prime Product Sales, Aftermarket Sales, Product Support Engineering, and/or Strategic Project Management
For this specific role Hydraulic excavator product and application knowledge would be beneficial.
Strong leadership skills to work with people from many different backgrounds, cultures, and levels within the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit.
Strong listening and communication skills essential to convey the value to execute and sustain the changes.
Extensive knowledge of company products/applications, NPI, CPI, and dealer operations.
Knowledge in strategy development and business acumen.
Experience with Aftermarket Insights tools and Prioritize Service Events (PSE)
Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed analysis and prepare strategic plans.
Strong communication skills and Change Management
Self-starter with excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills with 3-5 Complex Projects managed at a time.
Travel is up to 35%

Job Description:
As a Rebuild Program Consultant/Marketing Specialist you will execute NSD (New Services Development) projects for Repair Options and Rebuilds sales and ensure products are well represented commercially for our Construction Industries (CI) aftermarket product groups.
CAT equipment is built to be rebuilt. Rebuilds are the foundation for getting machines to achieve multiple lifecycles and help customers achieve the lowest cost of ownership. From basic, component rebuilds to complete machine rebuilds & retrofits, Caterpillar dealers are in the unique position to offer differentiated rebuilds and services.
This job is to lead, facilitate, consult, and serve as an SME with broad responsibility for helping CI Services Division drive aftermarket services growth for the Enterprise. New and existing processes need to be implemented or improved with metrics to support key imperatives and strategy development to achieve the company’s long-term global leadership and future parts revenue.
