Job Description
- Req#: 721699206
- Receive materials as required
- Unload inbound trucks of ordered material
- Verify packing slip to purchase order, quantity/weight of inbound product actually received; note any discrepancies or damages.
- Ensure timely unloading, receiving, and placement in the correct locations of all items received
- Use a computer and or scanner to receive products into inventory and print labels using the receiving process outlined in the QMS (Quality Management System) work instructions.
- Move the received product into the warehouse or production area using the scanner to locate it as required
- Communicate with Materials and Production Managers to alert them of the arrival shortages and hot items
- Communicate with shipping associates to alert them of inbound finished goods
- Communicate with the Quality Department to alert them of inbound materials that require inspection
- Process retail return goods in accordance with the Return Authorization procedure
- Notify Quality Department regarding automotive and industrial return items
- Ensure compliance with all QMS (TS 16949) Requirements
- All other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in fast pace environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
- Ability to operator barcode scanner
- Basic knowledge of MSDS
- Basic Math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to acquire a license to operate powered industrial truck
- Attention to detail to assure proper counts and data input
- Maintain a positive and professional rapport with various personnel internal and external to the plant.
- Ability to work additional hours on short notice due to incoming material schedule
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to work individually or in a team environment
