      Job summary

      We are looking for a smart, friendly and professional Medical Administrator / receptionist to join our small but expanding GP practice.

      You will be a key player of the administration staff and will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals. The ideal candidate requires good IT and interpersonal skills and to be an excellent communicator at all levels. A key feature of the role will be a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

      The successful candidate will need to be flexible and provide cover for annual leave or absence when required.

      Main duties of the job

      Candidates must ideally have customer care experience and / or experience of working in a healthcare environment. Some reception & admin experience is essential for this position and the candidate must have excellent IT Skills

      About us

      Small friendly GP Surgery located in Hampton. The list size at present is 7000 patients. There are 2 Partners 4 salaried GP I Nurse 1 HCA and 7 admin staff

      l Welcome Patients and visitors to the practice

      l Assist Patients on the phone, electronically and in person

      l Help to maintain the safety and comfort of Patients

      l Maintain records of appointments, financial transactions and other administrative duties

      l Keep Patient records accurate and up to date

      l Take part in recalls for Patient health checks

      l Maintain skills and undertake such training and development as may from time-to- time be required to maintain personal competency

      Participate in all activities required by CQC registration
