      Job summary

      The post will involve working as part of a small reception and admin team to provide a combination of reception work and general practice administration. Excellent customer service skills, good telephone manner and strict confidentiality are essential. Experience of working as a receptionist and administrator in a GP practice setting is preferred.

      1 post at 37.5 hours per week

      1 post at 25 hours per week

      Qualifications

      Essential

      • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in three subjects including English and Mathematics Grade A-D or equivalent experience to demonstrate good numeracy or literacy skills.
      • NVQ Level 2 in customer care/admin
      • or equivalent.

      • Experience of working within the NHS.

      • IT skills in the use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel etc).
