Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, smart, friendly and committed Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly and well-organised GP practice in Romiley, Stockport.
Main duties of the job
Our new member of staff will work set 16 hours per a week with additional hours up to approximately additional 5 hours as needed. Have set working hours over a 6 week period. The post hours are a variety of morning, afternoon or evening shifts, between the hours of 8am to 730 pm, over 4/5 days, but will be flexible. You will be able to provide cover at short and long term notice to cover staff absences. This may mean changing your hours for that week. The post is initially for a fixed term contract of 3 months, with a view to extend to 6 months for the right candidate.
You must have an excellent attendance record, be a good timekeeper, able to work under pressure and enjoy working as part of a team. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential.
About us
We are a busy practice serving over 7000 patients. Our Primary Health Care team includes 7 GPs, 1 Advanced Practitioner, 1 Paramedic, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 NA and 1 HCA's. We also have First Contact Physio Practitioners, Pharmacists and Health and Wellbeing counsellors.
We have an active group of Practice Champions to support our patients
Our last CQC inspection (October 2016) was "good with some outstanding features".
We encourage learning and we offer training and support to all our staff. We have monthly staff meetings and twice yearly away days.
