      Job summary

      We are recruiting for a new member of our friendly and welcoming reception team. Applicants must be IT proficient and have excellent customer service skills.

      Hours of work: approximately 20 hours per week plus more regular shifts required to cover annual leave/sickness and extended hours, across both Axbridge and Wedmore surgeries. This could include a 7.45am start or a 8pm finish.

      Main duties of the job

      To receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

      Provide general administrative assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
