      Job summary

Are you an organised, compassionate, and friendly individual looking to make a real difference in patients lives?

We're looking for a proactive receptionist to join our welcoming team at The Dove Medical Practice.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring they feel supported, valued, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors or pick up the phone.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a fast-paced and supportive environment where no two days are the same.

      Main duties of the job

As a receptionist, you'll be the face and voice of The Dove Medical Practice.

Your day-to-day duties will include welcoming patients to the surgery, answering phone calls, booking appointments, managing patient queries, and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks.

Youll be using our clinical systems to help keep everything running smoothly, ensuring patients receive the care they need as efficiently as possible. Excellent communication skills, a calm manner, and a strong attention to detail are key in this rewarding role.

  • About the company

National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
