Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful admin team based within Physiotherapy Outpatients at Dene Barton Community Hospital, Cotford St Luke.The admin team supports the MSK Physiotherapy Taunton & West Hub which covers Taunton, Minehead, Williton and Wellington.
The ideal candidate will have a great 'can do' approach to their work, as well as a welcoming and friendly personality. Previous experience of working in a reception / booking role would be beneficial. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential in supporting the team and ensuring our patients receive the best experience while attending or making contact with our department via telephone or email.

Main duties of the job
*Cover main hospital reception, welcome and check in patients for physiotherapy or redirect patients for other areas of the hospital.
*Welcome visitors / trades and direct them to appropriate departments.
*The post holder will be an ambassador for the service being the first point of contact via telephone and / or face to face.
*Receive referrals for patients who require outpatient treatment.
*Following protocols process referrals using available EPR: Rio, Maxims
*Via telephone and email arrange appointments for patients.
*Administer incoming emails.
*Receive telephone calls to the office from patients.
*Maximise clinic slots and ensure all available slots are filled.
*Block clinics for clinicians meetings / training sessions / supervision.
