- Receptionist will sit in the shared lobby of Catholic Charities home office and the Camden County Family and Community Center (clients seeking assistance).
- Manage access and flow of guests and visitors to the building;
- Monitor video surveillance cameras and entrances
- Direct visitors to proper staff/location;
- Call Staff when visitors arrive,
- Answer questions, take messages from clients
- Retrieve voicemail messages, direct messages to appropriate line or staff, return calls as needed.
- Light office work and staff support including copying, data entry, etc.
- Maintain lobby and reception area with up-to-date material, notices, etc.
- Receipt of deliveries, and assist with mail distribution.
- Good interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on de-escalation, problem solving, and compassion, excellent time management and oral communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Commitment to our mission.
- Non-profit and/or social services experience preferred.
- Receptionist experience required
- HS diploma required
ReceptionistCatholic Charities of South Jersey is seeking a caring and organized professional to manage the reception area of the Catholic Charities Home Office and the Camden County Family and Community Center. This individual will greet a variety of visitors to the building including clients seeking assistance, visitors, volunteers, and those making donations. The receptionist will oversee all communication between visitors and building staff, monitor entrance video surveillance system, manage the phones, and perform some office tasks as needed. The receptionist must be bilingual in Spanish and English and portray a calm, welcoming presence at all times.
