      Job summary

      An opportunity has arisen for a part-time medical receptionist to join our friendly team at our busy medical practice. Working 20 hours per week over 4 days on a rota basis.

      Warwick Square Group Practice forms part of North Cumbria Primary Care Alliance, a not-for-profit initiative designed to safeguard the future of GP services across North Cumbria.

      Main duties of the job

      Candidates should have previous reception experience with good people skills, an excellent telephone manner, be highly motivated and be able to work calmly under pressure.

      You should be able to work on your own initiative when required, but also work effectively within the team.

      The post encompasses a diverse workload, some of which is routine and some of which is responsive to the challenges arising on the day.

      Knowledge of EMIS web computer system advantageous but not essential.
