      Job summary

      This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 2 Receptionist/Clerical Officer to join the Community Mental Health Team at Brynmair Clinic, Llanelli.

      We are looking fo an enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal skills, strong organisation abilities and a desire to support our team and our leaders in everything we do.

      Main duties of the job

      An understanding of confidentiality is essential and an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn is also very important.

      The successful individual will need to be a team player with good verbal and written communication skills. Previous office administration experience is desirable and a good knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft Office packages and databases etc) is essential.

      The applicants will be required to have a flexible approach towards the needs of the service and be able to travel between sites in a timely manner in line with the Transformation of Mental Health 7 day working.

      Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.

      We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services.

      We work in partnership with the three local authorities, as well as public, private and third sector colleagues, including our valued team of volunteers.
