      Job summary

      May Lane Surgery is a busy GP Practice dedicated to delivering excellent healthcare to our patients. We are looking for a GP Receptionist to complement our friendly and supportive team. If you are enthusiastic and have great people and communication skills, we would like to hear from you.

      Competitive pay of £12.02 per hr.

      Main duties of the job

      We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and committed team member with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

      The role will include answering phones, navigating patients to the correct service and/or appointments, manning the front desk, scanning documents, prescriptions and other administrative tasks requested by the GPs.

      Experience of working in the NHS or with SystmOne would be an advantage but is not essential.

      We are looking to recruit 2 staff members to cover shifts on Monday, Thursday and Friday.

      Situated in Dursley, on the edge of the Cotswolds, midway between Gloucester and Bristol, May Lane Surgery is a friendly surgery serving approximately 10,000 patients.

      Our multi-disciplinary team includes GPs, GP Registrars, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedic, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Phlebotomists and a Young Peoples Support Worker. This is all supported by an extensive team of Receptionists, Secretaries and Administrators.

      We are a high achieving QOF Practice.
