      The San Marcos Campus team is welcoming and dynamic, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our students, guests, and staff. We pride ourselves on creating a positive and supportive environment, and we’re looking for a receptionist who shares our commitment to outstanding customer service.

      This temporary position starts in June and will last approximately 12 weeks.

      40 hours per week

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      • Receive telephone calls, determine where to route calls, transfer to appropriate personnel, and take messages.
      • Ensure the lobby and reception area are presentable.
      • Assist with typing and data entry.
      • Greet visitors and assist them with their requests.
      • Distributes all incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail.
      • May assist with the filing and copying of documents.
      • Assist the Office Manager with school events such as graduation, new student orientation, and appreciation events.
      • Send and receive transcripts for student files.
      • The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Verbal and written communication skills.
      • One (1) year of experience as a receptionist.
      • Minimum typing speed required: 45 wpm.
      • Computer skills.
      • Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications.

      COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

      • $17.58 to $21.10 per hour
      • California Paid Safe and Sick Time
