'); ' - Provide Administrative support for the Supervisor of Health Services/Health Sciences Programs.
- Serve as the front-office host: greet visitors, answer calls, manage sign-in/sign-out, issue passes, receive deliveries, and ensure a professional, welcoming atmosphere.
- Act as first point of contact for safety, security, and building access.
- Provide administrative support including data entry, database management (Skyward, state reports, spreadsheets), and report preparation.
- Manage calendars and schedules: maintain master calendar, room assignments, and activity records.
- Coordinate supplies and inventory: order and maintain office materials, snacks, and beverages; process quarterly supply orders (August 1, November 1, February 1, and April 1 of each year).
- Assist with marketing support: prepare event materials, create signage, and update social media under direction.
- Distribute internal communications, mail, staff phone lists, and recognition notices (birthdays, celebrations, etc.).
- Support administrators with clerical tasks, special projects, and summer preparations (e.g., checklists, posters, office organization).
- Cover classes/assignments as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong customer service, communication, and public relations skills with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to use printers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.

JOB TITLE Receptionist LOCATION J. Everett Light Career Center WORK SCHEDULE 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday CALENDAR LENGTH School year, 195 working days FLSA CLASSIFICATION Hourly HOURLY RATE $15.91/hr. ($24,819 annually) BENEFITS Paid leave days, paid holidays, retirement contributions (PERF, 401a, VEBA), life insurance and health, dental and vision insurance offerings.
