      Job summary

      The post offers an exciting opportunity to join the receptionist & administration support service team in the Becklin Centre.

      We have one part-time post available based at Becklin Centre. The hours are 18hrs 45mins per week working a shift pattern of early shifts and later shifts (07:00 - 15:00 & 15:00 - 22:00) This post includes weekend working.

      We are looking for a confident, friendly, enthusiastic and flexible individual who is able to deliver a comprehensive reception and customer service in an often busy reception environment.

      To provide a point of contact and general assistance to, staff, visitors and patients and act as a focal point of communication in accessing the appropriate ward/department or service in a courteous, efficient and effective manner.

      The ability to cope with periods of high activity in a calm and efficient manner as a team member is essential, together with being capable of reporting and relaying messages accurately. The post needs a methodical approach to work and experience of clerical systems and procedures.

      Main duties of the job

      The job holder will work as part of a small team to provide an efficient and effective reception and administration service in line with the agreed job plan.
