      Job summary

      We are looking to recruit a new, part-time receptionist to join our large and friendly team here at Stenhouse Medical Centre.

      If you have amazing customer service skills, a good phone manner, a friendly and approachable demeanor and want to help people then this is the job for you.

      Main duties of the job

      The position is part time, covering the afternoon shift for 4 days a week. This is 13:00-18:30 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, totalling 22 hours a week. Each shift will inlcude a 15 minute paid break.

      We would appreciate someone who is willing to do occasional overtime to support the team for holiday and sick cover.

      About us

      We are a large team of over 50 clinical and non clinical staff, serving over 12,000 patients in the Arnold area.

      The Practice is lead by a team of 6 Partner GPs and Practice Manager and supported by a Reception Team Leader and Assistant Manager.

      - Dealing with questions and queries from patients

      - Booking appointments on SystmOne

      - Communication between Clinicians and patients

      - Closing up the practice on an evening (always with at least 1 additional member of staff)
