    • Receipt and distribution of mail

    • Answer telephone – place and receive calls and route messages appropriately

    • Prepares letters, reports, requisitions, and other documents; proofs to ensure accuracy

    • Maintain respect at all times for confidential information, e.g., background checks reports, custodial papers, IEP’s, birth certificates, grades, medications and health restrictions, court documents and papers
    • Make contact with the public with tact and diplomacy
    • Interact in a positive manner with staff, students, and parents
    • Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation

    • Perform fingerprinting services and background checks as needed

    • Print and maintain an inventory of forms

    • Reproduce and distribute the School Calendar, Teacher and Administrative Directories, and Common Calendar annually, among other documents as assigned by the Superintendent

    • Work with the Director of Operations and Technology to keep the Staff Directory updated as needed

    • Create and distribute flyers and signages as directed by the Superintendent

    • Provide refreshments and hospitality services for ESC-hosted meetings as assigned by the Superintendent

    • Provide lamination services

    • Responsible for quoting prices and coordinating printing jobs for nonprofit organizations county schools

    • Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance

    • Demonstrate a positive work ethic

    • Work cooperatively with others in small groups

    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and/or Assigned Staff

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    • Clerical experience preferred

    • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and Googls

    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate

    • Position: Receptionist and General Clerical Assistant

      Reports to: Superintendent

      Employment Status: Regular/Full-time

      FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

      Description: Serves as a general office receptionist and is primarily responsible for communication in

      and out of the district; also provides clerical assistance as assigned by the Superintendent

      Compensation: $17.88-$24.75 per hour based upon consumerate with experience

      Start Date: Negotiable, but ideally Monday August 4th at the latest

      Contract: 240 day contract that runs from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. Actual days will be calculated contingent upon start date.

      Work Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
