      Major Responsibilities:

      • Performs receptionist duties. Screens and/or responds to inquiries in person, phone or e-mail.
      • Responds to specific program details and/or directs to appropriate personnel.
      • Performs straightforward typing/data entry, such as; forms, correspondence. Enters/updates information on computer.
      • Prepares requisitions, petty cash vouchers; receives/records applications/cash; issues permits, balances receipts, voucher payment. Makes calculations/tabulates data.
      • Performs duties, such as; booking meeting rooms, orders equipment/refreshments; opens/sorts/registers/distributes mail; photocopies/faxes, sets-up/maintains filing systems.
      • Operates/maintains office equipment or coordinates maintenance.
      • Orders/distributes and maintains supplies and inventories.
      • Prepares packages for deliver and arranges courier service.

      Key Qualifications:

      Your application must describe your qualifications as they relate to:

      1. Experience performing administrative and clerical duties.
      2. Experience working in a customer service environment dealing directly with the public, in- person and/or by telephone or mail.
      3. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word and Excel).

      You must also have:

      • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, clients and the general public.
      • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) and establish good working relationships with clients/customers.
      • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential operational matters.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently with minimum supervision.
      • Ability to perform routine clerical tasks with speed and accuracy.
      • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
