Job summary
We are looking for an experienced NHS receptionist/ administrator. Experience using EMIS is essential. Please do no apply if you do not fit this main requirement.
Looking for someone who can work within a team, multi task and use initiative.
2 full-time posts Mondays to Friday 11am-7pm.
With the ability to start work at 8am or until 7pm if required. (covering staff absence)
The successful candidates will work as part of a dedicated team.
Main duties of the job

Be able to prioritise
Able to take direction from the team leader and clinicians
Ability to work through Docman 10
Working on Emis tasks
Covering telephone calls and front desk
Scanning
Registering patients
Dealing with precription requests
Flexible
IT skills are essential to this role

About us
We are a large very friendly team consisting of 8 partners, 2 salaried GP's, 2 nurse practitioners, 4 nurses, 1 HCA along and 9 admin/reception members. This is an extremely busy practice with approx. 16,000 patients. We are all mindful of each other and will always help out where and when needed. The successful person will receive 20 days leave pro rata in the first year and the salary is £13.15 per hour.
